When you plan to clean the oven, first remove all items inside, including racks and baking sheets. If they show signs of burning residue, a solution of baking soda and hot water will suffice. Brush the entire surface and leave it on for a few hours (or even overnight). After this time, the dirt should come off more easily from the metal elements.
