Container gardening is another option for beets. Plant around six clusters of seeds, spacing them 2.5 cm apart, in a 30-centimeter-diameter container filled with potting soil.
Shade or partial sun will be fine for beets. Make sure the soil stays moist if it’s in direct sunlight.

Soil pH of 6.5 to 7.0 is ideal for beets. If you’re planting beets in a medium with light soil, you’ll need to dig a little deeper.

Each seed group may produce many seedlings when they germinate. Pick out the weakest seedlings and discard the rest.

Avoid stunted development and perhaps woody, less succulent roots by keeping the soil moist.
