Yellowed sockets and switches? Here is the trick to lighten them and make them look new

Potatoes and dishwashing milk to clean sockets and switches
To illuminate switches and electrical outlets, it is recommended to use potatoes. The starch they contain effectively eliminates grease stains, responsible for yellowing, and thus lightens the degree of whiteness. To do this, cut a potato in half and rub the sockets or switches you want to whiten with one half. In hard-to-reach places, you can dip a cotton ball in cleaning milk and use it to remove stuck-on dirt. It is recommended to turn off the power first to do a thorough cleaning.

Baking soda to whiten sockets and switches
This versatile product is effective in cleaning and removing yellow from electrical switches and outlets. To do this, mix the baking powder with a little water until you obtain a paste. Apply to surfaces to be cleaned and rub gently with a slightly damp sponge. Remove excess paste with a clean, dry cloth and wipe again with a soft cloth to further polish them.
