The tragedy was narrowly avoided. This Monday, April 22 around 5 a.m., singer Kendji Girac was shot and injured in an area of the Traveler community in Biscarrosse in the Landes. The former winner of The Voice was rushed to the Pellegrin hospital in Bordeaux when his life was in danger following a chest injury.
Later in the morning, BFM TV reported that Kendji Girac had regained consciousness and had given initial indications of the circumstances of the accident. He would have mentioned a “mishandling of a weapon” which he would have “declared having bought the day before at a flea market”. While his fans await ever more reassuring news, those close to the singer spoke to the newspaper Le Figaro Bordeaux.
