low-price stores are fierce in France between the Action, Stockomanie, Noz, Gifi, and La Foir’Fouille brands. And this is not about to stop, since a new company in the sector will set up in France. This is the Dutch non-food discount giant Wibra.

THE FIRST WIBRA SHOP WILL OPEN IN THIS CITY
There will be change in France with a new addition in the field of non-food discounters. Indeed, the Wibra brand will open its first store in France and the location is now known. The inauguration is planned for the first half of 2024. Citizens are delighted to have a new point of sale to obtain good, inexpensive products. The competition sticks its tongue out a little. Wibra was founded in the Netherlands in 1956 and has proven itself over the decades. The franchise currently has 267 points of sale and is aiming for 300 by 2025.

The first French Wibra store should open before this summer in the town of Roubaix. The proximity to the Netherlands is of course a strategic choice. Local customers, as well as passing tourists, will be able to find a multitude of diverse and varied products: decoration, household linen, stationery, toys and even kitchen utensils. In addition, Wibra has also launched an e-commerce site, allowing French customers to purchase its goods before its physical installation. However, you will have to order for a minimum of 35 euros, not including shipping costs.
