A fan of the film “Un p'tit truc en plus” by Artus, Laurent Delahousse found himself face to face with the actors of the feature film and was invited to answer a few personal questions. Usually very discreet, the journalist agreed to respond at the risk of disappointing his most loyal admirers.
Invited to meet the cast of the film Un p'tit truc en plus, which has been in theaters for almost 8 weeks, Laurent Delahousse was asked a thorny question in front of the director of the film, the comedian Artus, and his actors whom he received in the show 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. One of them actually asked him what his faults were. And despite his status as an ideal son-in-law among viewers, the 54-year-old journalist responded with great honesty: "I'm a little anxious, I'm a little hypochondriac, and then I'm a little hotheaded, a little touchy . You know sometimes, I take things the wrong way.” Comments which amused the actor Artus who is currently enjoying a real hit with his film highlighting disability.
Faced with Alice Taglioni's companion in 8:30 p.m. on Sunday on France 2, Artus also spoke of the success of this film which stars Clovis Cornillac, Alice Belaïdi and Marc Riso_._ "What surprises me is that goes against everything I was told when I tried to finance it, telling myself that people wouldn't be interested, that they didn't want to see these people with a little extra something on a big screen So that comforts me in the idea that I had, that I think that people want it,” reacted Artus.
More than 8 million entries
As proof, Artus' film exceeds 8 million admissions and is approaching the top 50 greatest hits of all time in France according to the Puremédias site. However, initially, the actor could have abandoned this project because he was faced with numerous refusals from producers who absolutely did not believe in the success of this feature film. "In France, as soon as we offer something different, often productions need to have a model. It doesn't look like anything else we've done before, so we don't know how it will be taken , so we don't do it" he confided during an interview with Brut, "And then there is the subject of disability which disturbed people.
In the press kit for the film, the 36-year-old comedian also says that he had a lot of trouble finding people who believed in this project because of the subject of the film: "We came up against a lot of refusal. We heard completely crazy sentences - "well, that's okay, we know they exist, we're not going to show them either"... It's distressing. , even today. But that’s precisely why we need to focus on these subjects,” he said. The team had the honor of climbing the steps of the Cannes festival this year, a real revenge after all the obstacles (big brands had also refused to dress the team) encountered to get there. A well-deserved consecration!
