in the context of the legislative elections. During the interview, the journalist brought out a tweet that was particularly embarrassing for the boss of the RN.

GILLES BOULEAU PUTS MARINE LE PEN TO A ROUGH TEST
A few days before the second round of the legislative elections, Gilles Bouleau received Marine Le Pen on the TF1 television news to discuss the progress of the RN. The opportunity for the journalist to recall the existence of a rather embarrassing tweet for the far-right party. Indeed, this Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by Andreï Nastasin, spoke out in favor of the Lepenist party on the Web.

“The French people are looking for a sovereign foreign policy that serves their national interests and a break with the diktat of Washington and Brussels,” says Andreï Nastasine. If the deputy director of the department of information and press at the ministry does not directly quote the RN, the photo which accompanies the message no longer really leaves any room for doubt, since we see Marine Le Pen there, all smile, on the evening of the first round of the early legislative elections.
“INTERFERENCE”: MARINE LE PEN TRIES TO EXPLAIN RUSSIA’S TWEET IN HER FAVOR
Long close to the Kremlin, Jordan Bardella's RN is trying as best it can to distance itself from Vladimir Putin's country, but this tweet does not really help their cause. “Doesn’t it embarrass you to be supported so ostensibly by Russia?” Gilles Bouleau asked him on TF1. “I absolutely do not feel responsible for Russian provocations towards France and towards Emmanuel Macron,” replies Marine Le Pen. Then added: “I believe that we have been extremely clear, we will maintain our support for Ukraine, we have given the limits that were ours”.

But then, how can we explain this enigmatic tweet from Russia in favor of the National Rally? “Why does he support you? To hurt you? Or does he deeply think that you are a better candidate for France?” insists Gilles Bouleau. “If they thought they had an interest, they wouldn’t have tweeted. I think it’s a provocation and incidentally, also, a bit of an interference,” assures Marine Le Pen.
