Invited on the set of “C à vous” last Friday, Agustin Galiana, without filter, did not hesitate to share his point of view on current French politics.

The French dream of Augustin Galiana
At 45, Agustin Galiana is proud of his dual career in Spain and France. The actor can boast of having won Dancing with the Stars and Mask Singer in France. The overwhelming victory of the National Rally (RN) in the first round of the legislative elections on July 31, 2024 heralds a tense week, with a Republican front more fragile than ever. The international press believes that Emmanuel Macron has lost his bet, leaving France in a “vertiginous fall into the unknown”.

Before these elections and in a climate marked by racism, Agustin Galiana shared his opinion on current politics. Invited on the set of the show C à vous on June 28, 2024, the former star of Clem did not mince his words to comment on the French political situation.

Agustin Galiana is living the French dream
Although he was born in Spain and began his career there, Agustin Galiana is now an essential star in France, both in cinema and on television. Having lived in France for 11 years, the actor has become a familiar face on the French small screen. A real success story for the man who dared to settle in Paris in 2013 without really believing in it, as he recently confided on the set of Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine.
"I arrived with a suitcase and 1,000 euros in my pocket. I was received by a friend who welcomed me, but it was very difficult, because I spent 4 years where the telephone did not ring... I am I came above all to find a job and so I became a tourist guide in Paris at the beginning.", confided the native of Alicante.

Agustin Galiana “unhappy with everything that is happening now”
Although he is not French by birth, Agustin Galiana is very attached to France. He follows with great interest the current political situation, marked by the dissolution of the National Assembly and the early legislative elections. Taking advantage of this turbulent period, the forty-year-old became one of the many celebrities to oppose the National Rally.

"Today I feel a little French, even if I do not have the right to vote. My love for Paris allowed me to discover the history of France. It is a country that I appreciate a lot which gave me a lot of opportunities. This is why I am so unhappy with everything that is happening now. France is a united country, which warmly welcomes foreigners, and we cannot lose. That."
