"'Mom, he killed my brother!'": Caroline Margeridon's son victim of a driver, his legs crushed"

Before being a second-hand dealer and antique dealer, Caroline Margeridon is a mother. Her two children, Alexandre (23 years old) and Victoire (22 years old), the famous buyer from the show Affaire concluded, holds it like the apple of her eye. In her autobiographical book published in November 2021, she evokes their complicity and confides in the happiest and hardest moments she experienced alongside them. A few years ago, she thought she was losing her son...
Everything was going well. Caroline Margeridon then drove to Switzerland where her children were to join her by train to spend a family vacation. But suddenly everything changes. "Suddenly my phone rang in the car. It was Victoire screaming and crying: 'Mom, he killed my brother!' I didn’t understand anything, but my heart was on the verge of breaking,” she says. While loading his sister's suitcase, the young man was hit by a driver and found himself "with his legs crushed" between the two vehicles. Listening only to her mother's heart, Sophie Davant's best friend hastened to change her program. “I was 300 kilometers from my children, I immediately turned around, my heart was beating at 1000 an hour and my car accelerated,” she explains.
An accident that could have turned into a nightmare...
In her panic, the pretty blonde then becomes a danger to herself and to others. Fortunately, the police quickly put his mind back in place. "I was arrested by the gendarmerie, I don't dare tell you how much. (...) They just warned me, saying: 'Madame, if your son had an accident, he will have needs his mom, so drive slower,'” she recalls.
A first diagnosis reveals that young Alexandre has nothing. However, he complains a lot and seems to suffer martyrdom. Caroline Margeridon then takes him to see Brice Edouard, a doctor friend, and the verdict is final. "Alexandre had severed ligaments and tendons in addition to phlebitis! If Brice had not welcomed us, my son would have died during the night. I will be indebted to him until the end of my days and I will not I can never thank you enough,” she reveals before concluding: “He had abdominal injections for three months, then a huge operation without rehabilitation because the clinics were requisitioned for Covid, he remained bedridden for almost a year and a half; !”
A story that ends well but almost turns into a disaster...
