“We no longer had the same desires”: Astrid Veillon announces her separation from the father of her child

For a week now, new episodes of season 7 of the series Tandem have been broadcast on France 3. Viewers can find the adventures of Léa Soler, played by Astrid Veillon alongside Captain Paul Marchal, played by Stéphane Blancafort. And when she is not on screen, the actress takes care of Jules, her 13-year-old child whom she had with her partner Gilles. However, the lovers decided to take different paths. Astrid Veillon announces her breakup with Gilles: “We are separated”
The love story between Gilles and Astrid Veillon is now a thing of the past. “We are separated, for now,” she announces. Without giving more details on the causes of this breakup, she admits that they were no longer on the same wavelength: “We were no longer looking in the same direction, we no longer had the same desires”. Preferring to be on good terms with the father of her son – Jules is already 1m80 tall – rather than tearing herself apart in front of him, she deemed it more logical to put an end to this romance which was no longer a romance. “I’m not judging anyone but I prefer this situation to that of a couple who stays together for the children, but keeps hurting each other,” she admitted.
