“When I see what happens to Arditi”: Pierre Perret announces the end of his stage career at 90

At almost 90 years old, singer Pierre Perret announces that he is ending his stage career, frightened by the health problems that certain artists may have encountered recently.

Pierre Perret made a big decision. The famous singer, to whom we owe the famous title Le Zizi, but who also recently released a song entitled Paris saccagé - which did not fail to provoke controversy - has a series of concert dates across France and Belgium. But fans who would like to see him live should hurry because, at almost 90 years old, the artist announced in the columns of Ciné Télé Revue that he would no longer return on stage after this last round of singing.

Questioned by our colleagues, Pierre Perret first wants to reassure about his state of health: "I am still in good shape, otherwise I would not be doing around twenty concerts between now and the end of the year", before explain: "But for afterwards, I think I'm going to put down the guitar and go fishing a little more often. When I see what's happening to Arditi, who is feeling unwell on stage, wisdom dictates that I stop performing "You have to be reasonable", he assured, promising all the same: "On the other hand, I don't intend to stop writing, my brain is constantly challenged by music or words that come to me. Nothing will stop me from picking up my pen.”

Pierre Perret is actually referring to the vagal discomfort suffered by Pierre Arditi, during the performance of the play Lapin, at the end of September. Interviewed recently by Télé-Loisirs, the 78-year-old actor gave his news: "There is no danger in the house, I am not going to die, I am not spoiled, I walk normally, but I am 'explained: 'Dear Sir, well done, fantastic, it's magnificent, but now we have to take it more slowly', so I had no choice, that's it!”, he confided. A few days ago, singer Maxime Le Forestier, aged 74, also showed signs of weakness, leading to the interruption of his show.
