Clearly, the woman in question was desperate to make the general public understand the potential dangers of stopping to examine what appears to be an abandoned stroller on the side of the road.
Picture the scene: you are driving down a dark road when you see a stroller parked on the side of the road. For most people, instinct takes over at this point, and you may slow down to take a closer look. In some cases, the driver may even get out of their vehicle to make sure everything is in order.
And it is there, according to reports, that the criminals hiding nearby set up their ambush.
“Yes, people are on the lookout,” one Facebook user commented. “At best, they rob you, at worst, they also crush you.”
Another added: “I would just call the police to have a look.” This may seem harsh, but it's not worth worrying about. »
This type of scam, which involves exploiting the good hearts of others, has unfortunately existed for most of human history and appears to be an effective way of tricking victims into putting themselves in situations where otherwise they would have been suspicious.
