When he is not in his seat in "The Voice", or on stage to take the microphone (TMC is broadcasting his incredible March concert this evening at the Accor Arena), Mika is resting at home, on the other side of the Atlantic. What does his home look like?
We already knew it, but Mika is a real showman. He demonstrated it once again last March, with his impressive concert at the Accor Arena (Paris), which took place as part of his Apocalypse Calypso Tour. TMC is broadcasting this Friday evening this incredible evening where the 40-year-old artist transcended his audience and returned the table the next day in Luxembourg then in Geneva. We are also used to seeing all his enthusiasm when he acts as a coach on the famous television show The Voice.
On the other hand, it is rarer to see him in a more intimate setting. But that's what he did last year, via a video posted on TiKTok, in which the interpreter of Elle me dit opens the doors of his superb house in Miami. What we then observe is that he seems to appreciate offbeat decorative objects, like his lamp with its feather-like lampshade or his decorative pineapples.
Mika, her house is in her image!
The walls of its dining room are adorned with an original exotic bestiary in the style of Douanier Rousseau (French painter, considered a major representative of naive art). They were painted by her sister Yasmine, who is an illustrator by trade. She also signed a large fresco in the main staircase of the house. Mika also shows us in this video her old traditional doll's house, as well as other objects, each one more crazy than the last. A decoration which can surprise, as it is unique, but which is in its image, namely original and creative.
For example, we can recall that Mika is passionate about fashion, and that he does not hesitate to appear in public in very colorful jackets and other outfits that are always very festive. But you are probably still interested in his house and want to know what the exterior of it looks like. In another video, also posted on TikTok, he shows us his deckchairs, his large swimming pool and his lush garden, where giant palm trees reign.
An idyllic setting, which Mika probably tries to make the most of. And he's right !
