“I had a coma”: Michèle Laroque looks back on the accident that almost cost her life

“She has a little problem: she really doesn’t want to be famous (laughs),” the famous actress revealed with humor. “And it’s a bit complicated to do this job without being one.” Not without pride, the main interested party said more about her projects: “She would rather turn to writing and directing”. In any case, Michèle Laroque would be delighted at the idea of ​​one day working with her daughter: “I’m ready!”
With nostalgia, Michèle Laroque also reflected on her parents' love story. His mother, Doïna, a former Romanian dancer who previously escaped the repressive regime of her nation, met her father in France. "During a folk festival in Nice, the town hall asked my grandmother to take care of the group of Romanians... He also went, and there it was love at first sight for my mother who had to go back to the end of the festival (...)".
If the lovebirds did indeed end up in England before returning to France, everything was not rosy for the couple: "She felt a lot of guilt because her family stayed there, that they had trouble. So it's a love story but not an absolute dream either", concluded Michèle Laroque, whose daughter is very inspired by this romance and could make a film or documentary about it one day.
