A debate which was also put on hold following the dissolution of the National Assembly by Emmanuel Macron while a vote was planned for June 18. Françoise Hardy unfortunately could not have been there to attend.

In the wake of the sad death of Françoise Hardy, many voices were raised to demand the right to euthanasia, first and foremost: Line Renaud.

The debate on the end of life has been at the heart of the news in recent weeks, and will come back even more to the forefront with the death of Françoise Hardy. The famous interpreter of My Friend the Rose died after a long fight against illness, but also a constant fight for the legalization of euthanasia in France. Aged 80, Françoise Hardy therefore left without being able to win her case, despite the publication of the letter that she had taken the trouble to write to Emmanuel Macron.
