The love between Paul and Luana Belmondo is linked to the past. As the chef said in an interview with “Paris Match”, the father of her sons would have left for another woman without warning her. Although the children were not aware either, he ended up speaking to them a few words.
For Luana Belmondo, the year 2024 started in a completely different atmosphere than the one in which she ended the previous one. While she was in Rome with friends and Paul Belmondo, her husband, to celebrate New Year's Eve, the party they celebrated in no way foreshadowed the days and months that would follow. In an interview with Paris Match, published on July 4, the 53-year-old chef said she dropped off Paul Belmondo at Rome airport, he who had to return to Paris when Luana was still enjoying a few days of the sweetness of the Italian capital . "He kissed me on the lips, he said 'I love you' and, as always all these years, I asked him to call me as soon as he got home to make sure that he had arrived well He didn’t do it,” assures Luana Belmondo in the columns of Paris Match. After this final contact, the Italian mother remained without news and she was not the only one.
“I got worried, I called the children (they are the parents of three boys: Alessandro, 27 years old, Victor, 30 years old, and Giacomo, 25 years old, editor’s note). They couldn’t reach him either. And since that day [his voice tightens, editor's note], without explanation, I have never really seen him again." If he obviously did not wish to give an explanation to the woman who is still legally his wife, Paul Belmondo, on the other hand, broke his silence with his children.
The brutal departure of Paul Belmondo
After waiting for long hours for news from Paul Belmondo, the latter finally showed signs of life. But it was not to Luana Belmondo that he first spoke: “He just said to the children who questioned him: ‘I have to take a break’” she always specifies in her interview. Stunned at being so little considered by her husband in this whole story, Luana ends up getting some news without much rejoicing: "For my part, I ended up exchanging a few messages with him which provided no answer to my questions, but confirmed his distance."
As she said, Luana Belmondo describes herself as an “abandoned and deceived” woman. The lover of cooking would have had initial doubts after neighbors alerted her that Paul was in the family home in Antigua, with another woman: "I didn't want to believe it. I tried to contact him. He just sent me a very harsh message on WhatsApp: 'Let me go, leave me alone'." Dialogue seems to have broken down between the two spouses. If a reconciliation would of course be a source of joy, Luana Belmondo is currently asking only one thing: "I would like Paul to behave well and begin to assume his responsibilities. Because since January 2, this is not the case. The least he could do was for him to explain to me what happened, even if I ended up understanding part of it." The latter recently flew to Antigua, saying more about his departure: "To avoid unnecessary messages I am going on vacation and not settling in Antigua, I never intended to settle there . I wish you a good Sunday."
