What happens to Inger Nilsson?
If you were born in the 70's you must surely have taken a liking to little Pippi Longstocking, whose real name is Fifilolotte Victuaille Cataplasme Tampon Daughter of Efraim Longstocking (just that). Her red braids, her freckles, her big socks and her friends Monsieur Dupont, the Monkey and Uncle Alfred, the Horse have made Fifi an icon. Behind this endearing character was the Swedish Inger Nilsson.

Now aged 62, the actress continues her career. She is now starring in the German-Swedish series "The Commissioner and the Sea", in which she plays the role of Ewa the forensic doctor. However, Fifi remains one of the most important characters in her profession. A role that did not allow her to land major roles in the cinema: "Everyone always saw me as Fifi", she confided a few years ago.
