After the results of the legislative elections on June 30, many artists spoke out. Louane was no exception to the rule, revealing for the first time her political commitment. On her Instagram account, she published several messages that say a lot about her state of mind a few days before the second round of elections.

Louane spoke on the occasion of the legislative elections
Aged 27, Louane grew up under the gaze of the French public. Since her appearance in The Voice and her César in 2015, she continues to emancipate herself. So, when the results of the first round of the legislative elections were known, the star couldn't help but give his opinion. With frankness, she spoke of her state of mind a few days before the second round.

Louane shocked by the results
Sunday June 30, the National Rally came first in the legislative elections. The party led by Jordan Bardella won more than 30% of the votes. In second position, we find the New Popular Front then, on the last step of the podium, the party of President Emmanuel Macron. Results which did not fail to amaze Louane. “Nightmare,” she simply wrote in a story on her Instagram account. A simple word, written on a black background, which says a lot about his state of mind.

A committed young woman
It must be said that the young mother had encouraged her subscribers to vote on election day. “Guys, it’s today or never (and also July 7)!”, she said on social networks. “So many people fought for us and for our freedoms. Please let's not risk losing our rights," she added to motivate her fans to go to their polling station. She also staged her own vote during the legislative elections. "This girl voted" , she informed her subscribers “Voting is sexy,” the singer added with humor.
What Louane thinks of the far right
Even if she never directly named Marine Le Pen's party, Louane shared a quote that says a lot about her commitment against the far right. “All it will take is a political, economic and religious crisis for women’s rights, our rights, to be called into question. Throughout your life, you will have to remain vigilant,” she wrote, quoting Simone de Beauvoir.

Usually very discreet, Louane had never spoken publicly before on political subjects. But for the young woman, the stakes are high. While her latest album Happy Sentiments is a hit, Louane took the risk of offending part of her audience by sharing her political beliefs. No matter, for the young woman, there are subjects that must be discussed at all costs.
