Independent report damns priest
An untouchable icon, Abbé Pierre has to this day caused a lot of ink to flow after new and chilling revelations about him. Via a press release from Emmaüs France, Emmaüs International and the Abbé Pierre Foundation released this Wednesday July 17, 2024, it was revealed that the former MP is accused of sexual assault by several women. “We believe them,” affirmed the three organizations. The latter commissioned an independent report in 2023. This, after “a testimony reporting a sexual assault committed by Abbé Pierre on a woman”.
