broke its silence following the death of Guy Lafleur, Quebec hockey legend who died this Friday, April 22 at the age of 70.

On her Instagram account, the diva shared a photo of the athlete and her eldest child taken a few years ago. “A great sporting legend has left us… A gentleman who inspired and who was an idol for so many people,” said the interpreter of I’ll go where you go.

And to add, not without emotion: “I offer my most sincere condolences to the family of Guy Lafleur, to his loved ones as well as to all those who were fans of the Blonde Demon”. “It is an honor that my very dear son RC (editor’s note: René-Charles Angélil) had the privilege of meeting Mr. Lafleur,” continued Pépé Munoz’s sidekick.

If the artist does not specify the nature of their relationship, she nevertheless confirms that Guy Lafleur "had a huge impact on [her] family", and that as such, she and René-Charles "will always remember this moment ". And for good reason, for several months now, the musician's state of health has worried not only her fans, but also those close to her, including Michel Drucker. “The last time I saw her was in London, three years ago, I think.
