lives peacefully in his superb house, located in the Paris region, but far from the tumult of the capital. The tireless actress, who has been based there for many years now, does not seem ready to leave! However, she is already preparing her succession…

It is in the heights of Rueil-Malmaison that stands La Jonchère, the sumptuous residence purchased by Line Renaud and Loulou Gasté in 1949. “I was 20 years old, we were thought to be crazy!”, a- she declared about this purchase in the columns of Paris Match. 74 years later, the emblematic figure of French cinema would not part with it for the world!

LINE RENAUD OPENS THE DOORS OF ITS HAVEN OF PEACE, LOCATED IN RUEIL-MALMAISON
Over the years, memories have multiplied in this priceless place. At Le Parisien, Line Renaud opened the doors to her haven of peace. The hostess tells the story of her favorite objects, that of the paintings and photos hanging on the walls or even that of the plants and trees in her lush garden.
At Paris Match in 2020, Line Renaud confided that she had started to “prepare her departure”. “It doesn’t make you die,” says the nonagenarian with the humor that the French know. Victim of a stroke in 2019, she took advantage of her 93 days in hospital to settle some matters…

“I put the Line Renaud-Loulou Gasté endowment fund in motion which, since last year, has given annually a sum for a doctor who makes progress in his field, another for Sidaction, of course, and a third for an association,” she explained to Paris Match.

LINE RENAUD: HERE IS THE FAMOUS ACTOR WHO WILL INHERIT HIS HOUSE
Line Renaud continues: “Claude [Chirac] and Muriel [Robin] will take over”. If the interpreter of My cabin in Canada knows that she will be able to count on those whom she considers to be “her daughters of the heart”, it is not to them that she intends to bequeath her residence in Rueil-Malmaison.

Indeed, regarding her beloved building, Line Renaud declared: “The endowment fund may have to sell La Jonchère. It’s not cheap to maintain! I would like to know the people who will live there after me. It is also possible that I will look before 'leaving', by organizing a sort of life annuity, to find out who will live there.”

Ideally, Line Renaud would still dream of Dany Boon moving there, although she has “never spoken to him about it yet”, as Pleine Vie reminds us. Extremely close, the two actors are not content to just give each other a reply. About him, the actress admitted to the microphone of 50 minutes inside: “It’s a love. He's my son in a way. I asked his mother for permission.”
