12 ounces bowtie (farfalle) pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Creamy Beef Sauce:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, toss with olive oil to prevent sticking, and set aside.
Prepare the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease, then add the diced onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
Add the Flavor:
Stir in the diced tomatoes, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes to blend the flavors.
Create the Sauce:
Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream and beef broth. Stir well, letting the mixture simmer for 5 minutes. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
