Ingredients
For the Lobster and Shrimp:
2 lobster tails, halved lengthwise
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the Basting Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions
Prepare the Seafood: Pat the lobster tails and shrimp dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture generously over the seafood.
Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high, around 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Grill the Lobster: Place the lobster tails cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes, brushing with basting butter, until the shells are bright red and the meat is opaque.
Grill the Shrimp: Arrange the shrimp on skewers or directly on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, basting with butter, until pink and slightly charred.
Serve: Remove the lobster and shrimp from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables or rice pilaf.
