Apple pie with vanilla pudding is an irresistible dessert that combines the softness of apples with the creaminess of pudding, creating a perfect combination of flavors and consistencies. Ideal for breakfast, a snack or as a dessert after meals, this cake is simple to prepare and will win over the palates of adults and children alike.

Ingredients:

3 apples
100 g of 00 flour
80 g of sugar
80 g of butter
3 eggs
Half a sachet of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Lemon juice to taste
Icing sugar for decorating
Instructions:

Preparation of the apples: Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into cubes. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent them from blackening.

Preparation of the dough: In a large bowl, work the softened butter with the sugar until you obtain a soft cream. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Adding the dry ingredients: Sift the flour with the baking powder and add them to the mixture, stirring until the mixture is smooth.

Mixing the apples: Add the apple cubes to the mixture and mix gently to distribute them evenly.

Baking: Pour the mixture into a previously buttered and floured pan. Bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes, or until the surface is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cooling and decorating: Let the cake cool on a rack. Once cold, sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.

Serving and storage tips:

Serve the cake alone or accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious hot-cold contrast.
Store the cake in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. For a longer shelf life, you can freeze it after cooking; just defrost it at room temperature before serving.
