Introduction: If there’s one thing that always leaves a lasting impression at every gathering, it’s a dessert that’s irresistible and universally loved. This is the recipe that I can’t help but make at least twice a week. It’s the dessert everyone asks for and one that never fails to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or looking for a sweet treat to enjoy after a meal, this dessert is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make, requires minimal ingredients, and is sure to be a hit every time. Let's dive into the recipe that will have your friends and family eagerly waiting for you to make it again.

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Fresh berries (optional for garnish)
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently to combine. If you’re using chocolate chips, fold them in at this stage.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn't overbake.
Let the dessert cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. Once it’s fully cooled, dust it with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries, if desired.
Serving and Storage Tips:

Serve this dessert warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also refrigerate it to extend the shelf life for up to a week.
If you want to keep it fresh for longer, freeze slices of the dessert wrapped in plastic wrap and foil. It will stay good for up to 3 months. Just thaw it before serving.
