Introduction: Clove tea is a warm, aromatic drink that’s not only comforting but also packed with numerous health benefits. Derived from the dried flower buds of the clove tree (Syzygium aromaticum), clove tea has been used for centuries in traditional medicine for its medicinal properties. This tea is known for its powerful antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds, and digestive benefits. Whether you're looking to boost your immune system, alleviate digestive discomfort, or simply enjoy a soothing cup of tea, clove tea is a natural remedy worth incorporating into your routine.

Ingredients:

2-3 whole cloves (or 1 teaspoon of ground cloves)

1 cup of water

Honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

A slice of lemon (optional)

A pinch of cinnamon (optional for added flavor)

Instructions:

Boil one cup of water in a small pot.

Once the water is boiling, add the whole cloves (or ground cloves) to the water.

Let the cloves steep for about 5-10 minutes. If you prefer a stronger flavor, let it steep for a longer time.

Strain the tea into a cup to remove the whole cloves.

Add honey or your sweetener of choice for sweetness, and a slice of lemon or a pinch of cinnamon for added flavor if desired.

Stir and enjoy the soothing, aromatic clove tea.

Serving and Storage Tips:

Serve the tea hot for a comforting experience. You can also allow it to cool and refrigerate it for a refreshing iced clove tea.

For optimal freshness, it's best to consume the tea within 24 hours. However, you can store any leftover tea in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

When reheating, add a small amount of water if the tea has reduced significantly.
