Introduction: If you’re craving a refreshing dessert that captures the essence of tropical flavors, then the Fluffified Mango Cream is your go-to treat. This light, velvety, and incredibly smooth dessert combines the natural sweetness of ripe mangoes with a fluffy cream texture, making it the perfect indulgence for warm weather or any occasion that calls for a delightful and easy-to-make dessert. With only a few ingredients and a quick preparation time, this recipe can be prepared in under 15 minutes, but the result will surely impress your guests.
Ingredients:
2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional, for added zest)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Mango Puree: Begin by peeling and dicing the ripe mangoes. Place the mango pieces in a blender or food processor and blend until you get a smooth puree. If you like a chunkier texture, pulse the blender a bit less for a more rustic feel.
Whip the Cream: In a chilled mixing bowl, pour the heavy whipping cream and beat using a hand mixer or stand mixer. Start on low speed and gradually increase to high. Whip until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
Blend in the Cream Cheese: In a separate bowl, soften the cream cheese slightly by mixing it with a spoon. Gradually incorporate the mango puree into the cream cheese, blending until it’s smooth and well-combined. If you prefer a more tangy flavor, add the lime juice at this stage.
Combine the Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mango-cream cheese mixture. Take care to fold instead of stirring vigorously so as not to deflate the whipped cream. This will give your mango cream its signature fluffy texture.
Chill the Mixture: Once everything is well combined, transfer the mixture into serving bowls or a large serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and for the cream to set.
Serving and Storage Tips:
Serving: Serve the Fluffified Mango Cream chilled. Garnish each serving with a fresh sprig of mint or additional diced mango for an extra tropical touch.
Storage: You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Note that the texture may soften slightly, but it will still be delicious!
