Ingredients:
For the Marinade:

1/2 lb (225g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Sauce:

1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1/2 cup beef broth or water

1 teaspoon cornstarch (to thicken)

For the Stir Fry:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

6 oz egg noodles, ramen noodles, or lo mein noodles (cooked according to package instructions)

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
Marinate the Beef:
In a medium bowl, toss the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Set aside to marinate while prepping other ingredients.

Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients: soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, broth, and cornstarch. Set aside.

Cook the Broccoli:
Heat 1/2 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Remove and set aside.

Sear the Beef:
Add the remaining oil to the skillet. Cook the marinated beef in a single layer (in batches if necessary) until browned, about 2–3 minutes per side.

Combine and Simmer:
Add garlic and ginger to the beef and sauté for 30 seconds. Return the broccoli to the skillet. Pour in the prepared sauce. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

Add Noodles:
Toss in the cooked noodles and stir to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Cook for another minute until heated through.

Garnish and Serve:
Top with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired. Serve hot!

Serving and Storage Tips:
Serving Suggestion:
Serve this dish fresh off the stove for the best texture. Pair with a side of pickled vegetables or spring rolls for a full meal.

Storage:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave with a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce.
