Cleanse & Nourish: A Natural Remedy to Support Kidney, Liver, and Lung Health

Introduction
Our kidneys, liver, and lungs play vital roles in filtering toxins, maintaining balance, and keeping our body functioning optimally. However, modern lifestyles—laden with pollutants, processed foods, and stress—can burden these essential organs. This natural cleansing recipe, inspired by traditional herbal practices, is designed to gently support detoxification and boost the body's natural defenses. While no remedy can magically flush out "all bacteria," this drink may aid in promoting a healthier internal environment, thanks to its nourishing and antioxidant-rich ingredients.

Ingredients
1 medium-sized beetroot (peeled and chopped)

1 lemon (peeled and deseeded)

1 apple (green or red, cored and chopped)

1-inch piece of fresh ginger root

2 cloves of garlic (optional but potent)

A handful of fresh parsley or cilantro

1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1/2 inch fresh turmeric root)

2 cups of filtered water

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the "mother")

1 tablespoon raw honey (optional, for taste)

Directions
Prep the ingredients: Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the beetroot, lemon, ginger, and garlic (if using). Chop into smaller pieces for easier blending.

Blend: Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender. Pour in the filtered water and blend until smooth.

Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Otherwise, enjoy as a thick, nutrient-rich smoothie.

Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately on an empty stomach for best absorption, ideally in the morning.

Serving and Storage Tips
Serving: Drink 1 glass (about 8 oz) daily for up to 7 days. Take a break for a week before repeating, if desired.

Storage: Store any leftover mixture in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Shake or stir before drinking, as natural separation may occur.
