Introduction
Over time, even the best kitchen pans lose their sparkle. Whether it's stubborn grease, burnt-on food, or simple dullness from regular use, a lackluster pan can make even the cleanest kitchen feel messy. The good news? You don’t need expensive products or hours of scrubbing. With a few common household items and a little know-how, you can bring your pans back to their gleaming best — in just minutes!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup baking soda
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon dish soap (preferably degreasing)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional for extra shine)
Warm water
Non-abrasive scrubbing pad or sponge
Microfiber cloth for drying and buffing
Instructions:
Prepare the Pan: Rinse your pan under warm water to remove any loose debris.
Sprinkle Baking Soda: Generously sprinkle baking soda over the inside and outside surfaces of the pan.
Add Dish Soap: Drizzle the dish soap directly over the baking soda.
Scrub Gently: Using your non-abrasive pad or sponge, begin scrubbing in circular motions. Focus on particularly dull or stained areas.
Vinegar Rinse: Pour the white vinegar over the pan carefully. It will fizz and bubble — that’s the reaction lifting grime!
Optional Boost: For a brighter finish, rub a little lemon juice over the surface after the vinegar rinse.
Final Wash: Rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove all residue.
Dry and Buff: Immediately dry the pan with a microfiber cloth, gently buffing the surface to reveal a high shine.
Serving and Storage Tips:
Serving Tip: Always present food in a clean, shiny pan for a more professional look when serving directly from the stove to the table.
Storage Tip: After restoring your pan’s shine, avoid stacking heavy pots on top of it. Store it separately if possible or use pan protectors to maintain the finish.
