Fresh Start: How to Naturally Cleanse Your Colon and Remove Waste

Introduction
Maintaining a healthy colon is crucial for overall wellness, as it plays a vital role in digestion and detoxification. Over time, waste buildup can contribute to bloating, sluggishness, and digestive discomfort. Thankfully, you can support your body’s natural cleansing processes with a simple, natural recipe made from everyday ingredients. This gentle colon cleanse drink is designed to help flush out toxins, restore digestive balance, and leave you feeling lighter and more energized.

Ingredients
1 cup lukewarm filtered water

1 tablespoon organic chia seeds

1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar (with the "mother")

Juice of 1 fresh lemon

1 teaspoon raw honey (optional for taste)

A pinch of ground ginger (optional, for added digestive support)

Directions
In a glass, combine the lukewarm water with the chia seeds and ground flaxseeds. Stir well to prevent clumping.

Allow the mixture to sit for about 10–15 minutes, giving the chia seeds time to absorb the water and form a gel-like consistency.

Add the apple cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, and honey (if using) to the mixture. Stir thoroughly.

Optionally, sprinkle in a pinch of ground ginger for an extra digestive boost.

Drink the mixture slowly, preferably on an empty stomach first thing in the morning or before a light meal.

Presentation and Storage Tips
Serving: Pour the drink into a tall glass or a mason jar with a lid for easy shaking before consumption. Use a wide straw if available, as the seeds can thicken the drink.

Storage: This cleanse drink is best consumed immediately after preparation to preserve the benefits of the fresh ingredients. However, you can prepare it up to 12 hours in advance and refrigerate it in a sealed container. Always shake or stir well before drinking, as the seeds will continue to absorb liquid over time.
