Despite its playful name, this casserole is packed with flavor and sure to be a hit at any dinner table. It’s a crowd-pleaser, ideal for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 packet taco seasoning

1 bag of Doritos (about 9.75 oz, any flavor)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 medium onion, chopped

1/2 cup milk (optional for a creamier texture)

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Preparation:
Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, taco seasoning, and milk (if using). Stir until smooth and well-blended.

Combine the Ingredients: Add the cooked ground beef and chopped onion to the soup mixture. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.

Assemble the Casserole: In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer the crushed Doritos as the base. Pour half of the beef mixture over the chips and spread it out evenly. Top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with a top layer of cheese.

Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the casserole uncovered for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.

Optional Garnishes: Once out of the oven, sprinkle sliced black olives and fresh cilantro on top for an extra burst of flavor and color.

Serving and Storage Tips:
Serving: This casserole is best served hot and straight from the oven. Pair it with a simple side salad or fresh salsa for a complete meal.

Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through. The casserole also freezes well for up to 2 months—just make sure to let it cool completely before freezing.
