Introduction
Every gardener, whether novice or seasoned, dreams of lush greenery and vibrant blooms. What if I told you that a single spoonful of a natural, homemade mixture could transform your plants and encourage an explosion of flowers? This simple recipe uses accessible ingredients to boost plant vitality and trigger blooming in almost any flowering species. Affordable, organic, and effective—let nature do the work for you.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate)
1 tablespoon of used coffee grounds (dried)
1 tablespoon of banana peel (finely chopped or powdered)
1 liter of water (preferably room temperature and dechlorinated)
Optional: A pinch of cinnamon powder (for anti-fungal properties)
Preparation:
Combine dry ingredients: In a clean bowl, mix the Epsom salt, dried coffee grounds, and banana peel. If you're using cinnamon, add a small pinch.
Dilute in water: Add this mixture into a liter of water. Stir thoroughly until most solids are suspended or partially dissolved. Let the solution sit for 30 minutes.
Strain (optional): If you're using a watering can with a narrow spout, you may want to strain the mixture to avoid clogging.
Apply: Pour the mixture directly at the base of your flowering plants. Avoid pouring over leaves or buds.
Serving and Storage Tips:
Use once every 10–14 days during the flowering season.
Store the mixture in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 5 days.
Shake well before each use as the contents may settle.
