Introduction
Have you ever stumbled upon a recipe so unexpected, so out-of-left-field, that your first reaction is, “Wait… people actually make this?” That was exactly my reaction when I heard about this one — a dessert made with ingredients I’d never think to combine. But as they say, don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. What began as pure curiosity has now become one of my most requested dishes. Let’s dive in.

🍌 Ingredients:
(For Banana Avocado Chocolate Pudding — yes, really.)
2 ripe bananas
1 ripe avocado
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
1/4 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, dairy, etc.)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

👩🍳 Preparation:
Scoop the avocado flesh and peel the bananas. Add both to a blender or food processor.
Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa if desired.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for best texture.

Serve in small ramekins or glasses topped with shaved dark chocolate, crushed nuts, or a dollop of whipped cream.
