A greedy brother inherits a house and mocks his younger sister, who receives only five rusty old clocks from her deceased grandmother. They had no idea what was hidden inside these timepieces.
"Oh, so Grandma called you too?! I thought you'd be busy at the library… like a real bookworm!" Brian, 26, teased his younger sister, Linda, 19.
She just got out of the taxi. Fear filled her eyes while her heart told her: "Nothing will happen to Grandma. She'll be fine. She'll live another hundred years."
Brian and Linda came to visit their 90-year-old grandmother Marlene. She had urgently requested to see her.
"My darlings, I want to see you one more time. I might not get the chance," Marlene had painfully told them on the phone two days ago.
When Linda entered her grandmother's room, she coughed because she noticed it was quite dusty. Marlene was too old and ill to do everything herself. She hadn't swept the floor, and Linda noticed that the ceiling was moldy from a leak.
