Stroke: These warning signs appear one month in advance

Strokes are extremely dangerous, so stay alert and consult a doctor as soon as you notice any of these warning signs.

Strokes claim many lives each year. Strokes are a blockage or rupture of a blood vessel in the brain due to a blood clot. At this point, cells no longer receive water or oxygen and begin to deteriorate. This has serious consequences for the body and requires immediate attention. While strokes seem to occur suddenly, some signs can appear about a month earlier.

The Different Types of Strokes

Keep in mind that there is not just one type of stroke, but two or even three:

Ischemic Stroke

Also called cerebral infarction, this stroke accounts for 85% of strokes, making it the most common type of stroke. When the artery supplying blood to the brain becomes blocked by cholesterol-rich plaque (atherosclerosis), it is called cerebral thrombosis. If it is blocked by a blood clot, it is called a cerebral embolism.

Hemorrhagic crisis

The rarer hemorrhagic stroke affects 15% of stroke cases. The main cause is the rupture of an aneurysm. According to the Ministry of Health, "tumors, hypertensive crises, and various coagulation disorders can also cause cerebral hemorrhages."

Transient ischemic attack (TIA)
