Cleaning the house takes its time…and very often we work hard to keep the house fragrant and shiny.

The bathroom, above all else, needs some attention. And when a bathroom does not have windows, the problem is greater, even if we have installed vacuum systems.

When we wash or use the shower, various condensation problems promote the presence of bad odors, as well as the formation of damp spots and mold.

But what you may hate the most is the stench that remains in the bathroom, even though we cleaned it.

That’s why today we want to give you some tips to always have a fragrant bathroom even if it doesn’t have a window!

DIY deodorant spray:
As a first remedy, we would like to offer you a natural, do-it-yourself spray that you can use if necessary. This is a very simple and inexpensive recipe, which will also be useful for other domestic environments!

Here’s what we need:

300 ml of water
2 tablespoons of baking soda
10 drops of essential oil of your choice
Take a measuring jug, to which add water and dissolve 2 tablespoons of baking soda. At this point, add the essential oil you prefer. You can opt for lavender essential oil, or even sandalwood… Depending on your preferences, don’t hesitate any longer.

Pour everything into a spray bottle. The absorbent action of the bicarbonate will make bad odors disappear, while the essential oils will add fragrance!

Toilet paper method:
There is a little trick that we want to share with you today. Well yes! We can perfume our bathroom with simple toilet paper.

This method is even more effective if you have fabric toilet paper containers hanging on your bathroom wall.

You will only need your favorite essential oil and place a few drops on the inner cardboard of the roller. This way you will have a scented bath in an effective and absolutely economical way.

With Rose Petals:
There are tons of ways to reuse scented rose petals. This unique fragrance brings back indelible memories of our grandmothers and their perfumes.

Did you know that you can create a very pleasant fragrant scent for the bathroom? Here too, the procedure is very simple.

First, let the rose petals dry for a few days. Then put them in a jar, and pour a little olive oil so that it completely covers the petals.

Leave everything on your windowsill for five days, making sure it’s exposed to sunlight.

After 5 days, filter the oil and put it in another pot. Insert some wooden (or bamboo) sticks and you’ve created a great natural remedy for your windowless bathroom!

With baking soda:
Once again, we choose baking soda for its countless virtues!

Here is an even simpler room fragrance, which will make your bathroom fragrant and free of bad odors!

Take a jar and cover it with 3 fingers of baking soda. Add a few drops of essential oil and mix, you should smell the fragrance in an enveloping way.
