At the same time, you can also decide to use vinegar and then dilute it with very hot water . In this case, the sponge must remain submerged in the liquid for 2 hours .

On the other hand, if you have hydrogen peroxide available, you can use it in the same way as for bleach .

Don’t forget that you can also use the microwave to sterilize the sponge . To complete this technique, you must pour a small glass of vinegar or lemon juice into a container filled with water . Then set the appliance to maximum power for 5 minutes . After that, you have to let the sponge cool down and then you can use it.

Finally, your dish sponge will be well cleaned and sanitized.
